Intersection of Spiritual Care and Palliative Care: Meet Esther Taaka

  Esther Taaka is a Palliative Care specialist who works at the Mbale Regional Referral Hospital in the Eastern part of Uganda, Africa She is responsible for several areas ranging from being in charge of a single hospital unit to being the regional palliative care coordinator for both the hospital and the region. Esther sits on multiple boards including the Palliative Care Advisory Committee for the Mbale region which advocates for palliative care policies in the country.
